WebJan 7, 2016 · My experience with 100-400 MK I was f 7.1 was the sweet spot of the lens. I have not had a good light conditions to test the NEW combination for wildlife. Would appreciate to know the sweet spot of 100-400 MK II. I choose my aperture based on the depth of field I need, not sharpness.
